Come join Takoma Academy and help the community by donating your unused coats to the Takoma Academy Holiday Coat Drive during their annual John Graham Holiday Basketball Tournament held Dec. 18-20 at the J.P. Laurence Auditorium located on campus at 8120 Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park, MD 20912. Drop off coats Saturday night Dec. 19 starting at 6 pm and receive one FREE admission with each coat donation. On September 27, 2009, Heritage Missions and Restoring Bamburi will host the “Restore Me: Benefit Dinner & Auction.” This event, initiated by Pastor Ron Brathwaite, will be hosted by Alvin Chea (Take 6 member). The dinner will be prepared and the atmosphere will be set by Joy & Keith Harris of MannaFeast Experience.
